The Great Addison Road Drum Search
After five incredible years, our compadre Jeff has decided to leave ARoad. Jeff has decided it is time for him to step away from the band and pursue the next chapter in his life. We are so sad to see him go, but excited for this next stage in his life. In fact, Jeff is going to be hitting the books again to finish up his college degree that he started several years ago. Lets hope that “freshman 15″ isn’t too hard on him! All joking aside, we will truly miss Jeff as a member of Addison Road.
But with endings comes new beginnings, so today we are starting “The Great Big Addison Road On-Line YouTube Drummer Search of 2010″ We need your help to find the next drummer of Addison Road! Details can be found below. Happy drumming!
Step 1: Record a 5 minute video.
Play 2 minutes of “All That Matters” - Play 1 minute of a song of your choice.
2 minute interview answering the following :
Question #1: Why would you like to be in Addison Road?
Question #2: Tell us something funny about yourself?

Taking time out of my day to watch the auditions, there was one guy that standed out to me the most. This person played with excitement, had a few tricks up his sleeve, but most of all was fun to watch. He got into the music, his video was very professional and you could tell he was having fun making his audition. Fred Fischer is one of the most funniest person I’ve ever met. His lizard imitation cracked me up. I would highly reccomend Fred Fischer to play for Addison Road. Anyone who has worked the landscaping business is a hard worker. Not only does Fred play for his church, but his heart is in christian music. My vote is for Fred Fischer.
Just finished up and uploaded my video a few minutes ago! I think this is really great what you guys are doing and I will continue praying for you all as you are in search of finding the right person for the group. Thanks for all you guys do!

Wow!! I have seen some bad things happen to good people and whatever happens God will always provide. No more is that apparent in what you guys have gone through.

Hey there!!! I’m friends with an amazing drummer that has sent in a video. He is the most amazingly talented drummer I think i’ve seen in a very long time. He blows me away every sunday that he plays at our church in the worship team. His name is Tyler Reisinger, and he is possibly one of my favorite drummers ever, and i’m not just saying that because he is a close friend. He is a truly inspirational drummer, a very friendly person, and a firm believer in Christ. And he continues to impress me whenever i watch him play. I seriously think he is the perfect drummer for your band, and I know for a fact that he won’t let you down. God Bless

Addison Road, you all are amazing ppl who really do have a heart for Jesus and ppl. Take your time with the whole drummer search there are alot of videos to be watched and let the Holy Spirit lead you. You’ve definitely got alot of talented individuals who love Jesus and desire to be used by Him.

I’m trying to get the attention of the band here:
I have been playing since I was 16, am creative, fast and pretty ‘right on.’ I could handle being the backbone, if you will.
Ahhh…
Of course, I follow Jesus Christ- my savior, I have a silly sense-of humor, am getting married this summer, have a Masters degree in Social Work with an emphasis in Clinical/psychotherapy and work with people with mental disabilities.
Back to music. My influences: Smashing Pumpkins, The Doors, Newsboys and others…?? I definately have a wild, Jimmy Chamberlain-like style, but love to change it up and be creative. I’m not a power/control freak. I’m always open to others’ ideas and just want to serve God in whatever way I can…maybe through music?
Even though my dad is and has always been an atheist, God ‘grabbed me up’ at the age of 7, which is when I decided to go to church on my own accord. And God has been blessing me since.
One more thing: I don’t have a drumset, but could get ahold of one for the utube thing…further, I could afford one, but I wouldn’t buy one until I knew you guys wanted me. I’m hoping you I could do a try-out in front or with you all. Just jam. If you don’t likey, then I splitsville with no tears.
