Wow. What can we say? We are completely blown away by the generosity, love and support we have received from the body of Christ. Words cannot express our gratitude. Through your financial donations, personal stories of facing adversity, prayers, and your reminders of so many beautiful passages of scripture, you have not only met our needs physically but you have been a part of restoring or souls and re-igniting a passion for our ministry as a band. We are incredibly humbled to know that we have played a small part in your lives and overwhelmed with gratitude and joy that you have played a HUGE part in ours.
We wanted to give each of you a brief update on our current situation:
Ryan, Anniston, and I are completely taken care of. Moms literally showed up at the shows in Las Vegas and Paso Robles California with their babies own clothes for us to have. Likewise, people have given Ryan and I their brand new jeans, shoes, and other things from around the house and dear friends in Las Vegas brought us shopping to replace everything we needed! Family, friends, and loyal blog readers have stepped in to provide for us financially and we have recovered or have the money to recover every single thing that we lost. So, as for the Simmons family, it feels like Christmas over here!
Because of the amazing Christian radio stations across the country, facebook, and twitter the band has been able to get out our story to thousands and have been blessed with so many donations! This blows our mind. Thank you for trusting us with your money and believing in our ministry. Please know that every single donation that has been made to the addison road paypal account will go directly to:
Covering the unexpected rental cars, hotel fees, and RV maintenance which preceded and directly followed the fire.
Paying for a new batch of merchandise (we lost all our new merchandise and that is how us starving musicians make our bread and butter while we are out on the road!).
Covering the cost of new gear and sound equipment until the insurance money is in hand and the so many small equipment items we have gathered along the way that insurance will not cover.
And most importantly, your money is making a way for us to purchase a new vehicle. In 2009 the van and trailer we owned were stolen twice… along with ALL our gear! In September, we turned the corner in a rainstorm and ran directly into a giant oak tree that had fallen into the road and totaled that van and trailer. And now… the RV we were renting from friends burned to the ground. Needless to say, in order to continue as a band, we have got to get a new vehicle that we can safely bring our daughter and the band out on the road in. Your contributions after such an incredibly hard year makes that possible.
We want to be completely transparent with every good and perfect gift we receive and want to thank you again for trusting us by giving so generously to our ministry. People have offered their personal vehicles, guitars, homes, and free services like massages (what girl can turn that down?) and insurance advise and we are just incredibly honored and overwhelmed to be a part of such a generous, hard-working, passionate family of Christ.
We covet your prayers, your financial sacrifices to make what we do possible, and really hope you will come to a show and help us sell out this incredible tour!!!
love
jenny and the addison road gang.

God always provides! Still praying for you guys!
I’m glad you have received the encouragement and support you need! God is so good. I have been so blessed by your ministry, and was grateful to be able to help in any way I could.
Keep it up! I hope to see you all in Greenville for the Agape festival.
Jenny, you guys are playing in my area this weekend. If there is any way I can help your band, please let me know. I have some guitar pedals I’m willing to loan out. Or even if you just need a warm meal, it would be an honor to help your ministry.
Feel free to contact me via e-mail if I can assist you guys.
Take care and God bless.
When the body of Christ stands shoulder to shoulder to bear one anothers burdens, that is when the Lord is glorified, and the enemy is defeated. In these moments it is the Lord, who asked greatly of you, who has made the continuation of your ministry possible. He will continue to sustain you as go on in obedience, because he never asks us to go where he does not provide the means for us to get there. May you not only be encouraged by His mighty hand moving in the body on your behalf, but also by the fact that He found you important enough in His work to ensure it happened.
[...] I read on Addison Road’s website that they have received a huge outpouring of support from the body of Christ. That all of [...]
Awesome! God is so faithful!
GOD has plans for you. This is obvious! Your music and commentaries touch people. All I can say is to continue to be faithful in the LORD. It is HE that will fill you when you run low. It is HE that will carry you when you are tired. It is HE that will that will bring joy when you are sad, and you will be again at sometime. He only promises to stand between us and GOD when we are accused so GOD will not see our imperfections. Then HE will make a place for us when we go HOME finally. You all are making a difference in peoples lives. Just continue to be true to GOD on and off the stage.
God is good all the time. All the time God is good.

You all obviously have a very important message to get out, otherwise the devil wouldn’t be trying to hard to stop you!
Stay strong, lean on God through hard times – and He’ll see you through. From what I hear, things are starting to look up.
Jenny:
i heard this morning on KLOV that Kelly Caldwell’s missionary friend in the Midwest has an RV that he is not using for the next three months. He plans on meeting you and the band before your concert on the 15th at Moorcroft, Wyoming. Isn’t that wonderful how God cares for His own!!!
Please share this wonderful news with the rest of the bands and all your faithful fans. God is the God who hears.
AMEN
God has placed you on this path, and with every step you take, He will place SOLID GROUND UNDER YOUR FEET!
We Love you,
Mark and the guys ANKLE DEEP
A few years ago a week before Thanksgiving I lost everything in a house fire I was lucky no one was injured although my wife suffered from smoke inhalation but was fine after a brief stay in the hospital. That September my step-daughter suffered a stroke while at college which left her paralyzed on her right side. I should tell you that she had a beautiful voice and was also a member of the college Choir and City youth symphony, she played the Viola. When she would sing it would bring tears to my eyes but would also make my heart rejoice because of her gift. During the rebuilding of our home I lost both of my parents due to preexisting illness with in a month of each other. You just get over one funeral and your preparing for another one.
We moved back into our house and things were going along fine for a few years. My step-daughter had found God and turned her life over to Christ and was trying her best to get my wife and I to attend church, I thought I was bullet proof and I didn’t need Christ in my life. After all I thought had gone pretty much through all the hardships that life could give you. I couldn’t have been more wrong. My step-daughter died from a ruptured artery in her abdomen. Because she had a medical condition that raked havoc on her blood vessel surgery was out of the question. I along with her Father where with her in the hospital when she died. Her mother (my wife) had taken the other children to St. Louis to see one of the other siblings that was there in town. The hardest call that I ever had to make was to call my wife and tell her that her daughter was gone. I to this day think that God had put her (my wife) in St Louis along with all the other children.
You see my wife was a nurse and I know had she been in town she would have been doing every thing she could to save her daughter’s life. I could not imagine the torment that she would have gone through to be asking for medical procedures to be done and no one could do anything but to watch her daughter die. But our God has bigger plans. It’s been said that to lose a child is the toughest test a marriage can go thorough. Well mine didn’t survive after a few years of trying to make things work my wife and I parted the waters in 2009 and got a divorce. We were married for 18 years and had 7 children between her and me. I have had a tuff time with all of this trying to get some understanding as to why this was happening to me. I turned my life over to God and have been struggling with pushing through the Wall of Why’s.
I don’t know why things happen like they do but I can tell you that you will be stronger from it. I know God has plans for me and I have to trust him. I know you are doing Gods work and he has bigger plans for you Guy’s. My prayers are with each and every one of you.
In times of struggle is when we tend to lean heard on God. Remember to lean hard on God also when time are good. I guess I just want you to know it will get better but never lose sight that you will have the temper of your steel tested through life. I know Job went thorough so much more and never gave up.
May god bless your families with all that good.
Thom
You guys really seem to have some serious bad luck, especially with vehicles. I suggest you learn to fly…
My family is coming to see you guys with Sanctus Real and Me In Motion next month as part of our spring break. I have a WHOLE BUNCH of stuffed animals and I’m planning on bringing some for Annie, including Dug from Disney Pixar’s UP who talks and says things like, “Hi there” “I have just met you, and I LOOOVE you”, and things like that.
Hope your luck improves.

I know someone who is wanting to sell a tour bus. It is a full sized bus with built in bunks, air conditioning, bathroom, etc. He said he would like to get 10k for it but he really just has no use for it. I will send some pictures of the bus so you can see what kind of condition it’s in(it has been sitting for about 6 months) if you are interested. Thank you so much for your inspiring words, for your encouragement, and we’re all glad to hear that everyone is ok. God bless!
I saw the rv burn down and have pictures on my facebook. Wish there was something we could do to help. We have seen you guys in concert twice in Vegas. I know that God will work this all out. Blessings.
I love your album but your vehicle travails remind me of the drummer from “Spinal Tap.”
I was so sorry to hear about the fire, but pray that you won’t be discouraged. I’ve been praying and have requested prayers for you all. Please don’t be discouraged but have faith that God will take care of you and will provide.
Love, Beth (Ila’s cousin-in-law)
I’m so GLAD that your needs are being met through the help of believers. I saw your performance in Oct. in Chicago area and you guys were the best of a great concert. (sorry S.R.) Thank you not only for your inspiring music, but for holding onto hope, and standing firm, remembering your ministry when everything did seem to ride on hope – no one wants to be the poster child for grace under stress, but you all have shown a measure of faithfulness in the crucible and God has already and always will honor that. In all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
Hey Jenny its Tesla from the moorcroft show and you said i can post the picture of us on here or your blog and it wont work! =( Thought i would let you know… I am so glad God blessed you with all those people who helped you so glad!
