I wrote about yall on tangle.com my blogspot but i dont know how to blog anywhere else or to use any of those purty little rss buttons and stuff but I want to figure it out and I just wanted to say hi and the baby is very beautiful! I do comedy but that’s no joke because some people don’t know what a pretty baby looks like and they say they all look the same and I think these kinda people don’t have face recognition software in their heads or color vision. My Favorite Music, Sometimes by PhilHarley

I take my choice of music very personally…like really really personally because I write songs and mine are pretty good depending on what age group or IQ group you are into even if you are just visiting that age group or IQ group like I visited all kinds of age groups and IQ groups to write my songs as some are very serious lyrics with very immature guitar playing like a 10 year old and then some have very goofy lyrics and are played quite well sounding more like a professional band like Petra except I haven’t figured out how to pick my nose and play my guitar like Bob Hartman did at six flags in front of a huge crowd and he didn’t even care or wipe his finger off afterwards, but just kept playing and didn’t miss a note and I think someone should get him really tired and put his guitar in his hands while he is sleeping and see how many songs he can do in his sleep but my songs are a variety and Petra used to be my favorite band when I was young and could only play chopsticks and now even though he is kinda hard to look at Aaron Shust sounds great and my wife is still mad at me for buying all his stuff instead of paying the water bill but Aaron pumps in the living water so we are a bit crusty but our souls are drippin’ wet and we went to a brown bag concert that turned out to be a wet paper bag with tons of wind and watched Addison Road play their way out of a wet paper bag and the funnest part was trying to figure out which guy was her hubby because I think Ryan just needed his space because tons of guys were lining up to see Jenny Simmons even though she was kinda expecting a child well okay you can’t kinda be expecting a child and we just had our newborn with us to hear, see and feel the concert and me and my wife got to run up to the white van they were about to leave in and show off our baby to Jenny Simmons and I got kinda confused because I figured she would be sitting next to Ryan who we thought was this one preppy band member and she was in the passenger seat and the driver was the piano player guy who always has this lonely look on his face but there was about ten bibles of space between them so I held up our baby to show him off and Jenny did not show us her baby because it wasn’t born yet and that would be kinda weird and I didn’t even want to see her belly or put my hand on it to feel the baby because we just met and that would be very uncomfortable for her and my wife was already kinda embarrassed because the whole band caravan was stopped because of us but Jenny was quite Christian about it all and even though Ryan wasn’t stickin with her me and my wife really like Addison Road the band and all the people in it and they are our favorite band and music for the moment there are so many bands and I have so much space on my ipod AND iphone AND macbook pro so they are at the top of my list literally because the name of the band starts with A and Aaron Shust also starts with A and Petra was the only Christian band for a very long long time so there are my favorites but sometimes I forget to stop my ipod and it keeps playing for a long time and goes all the way to Jeremy Camp and wow it’s more living water and tears too and then after 5 albums of Jeremy then Kutless comes on a while later makes me happy again for 4 albums but I think they should catch up with Jer because they are a whole band and Jeremy is all by himself and has 5 albums hey I just mastered the search feature on iTunes and found more people but the iphone is still kinda behind the times and Jenny please kiss your husband at least once during each concert as it is so weird not knowing who he is or maybe Ryan please just hold her hand if you are afraid of too much PDA that’s public display of affection for those who don’t get in trouble for that at school or don’t know anyone who got into trouble for it like if you were going to a Christian school or something and I think everybody there knew who my wife was and our baby even though nobody cared who we were but the point is even stronger now because we were all watching you and you are still married even though traveling in a band with no running water except the wind and rain but your music has living water in it all the while Chik Fillet parking lot is packed with tons of people who want to see you guys kiss and make up.

Favorite Books: I will tell you about my favorite books tomorrow because I like to write and I don’t have a book but I want to do one but I hate to type and kinda don’t like to read very much even though I’m a speed reader and really good speller it still requires too much brainwork and I’m thinking about doing an audiobook first and then pay somebody to type it all out for those poor people who don’t have access to a podcast or CD player or mp3 player or Utube or cassette player or 8 track player or old record player it really makes me cringe when I see a smart looking person reading a book because they really do look smart but I wonder if the writer of the book thought this all out before coming out with an antique on purpose right out of the chute and that’s horse racing terms but isn’t it a gamble to do it that way and ignore all the technology out there and have you been to a book store lately and saw the millions of books they have and then go online and easily type in an author and give him money in seconds without even using the dewey decimal system at all and then you get the whole book and download it in a few minutes onto your laptop and put it on your iphone and ipod and even burn a CD of it and that’s very biblical because it says to hearken unto wisdom but I do have some books but I’m waiting for them to come out on audiobook format with a good manly voice like Charlton Heston instead of the wimpy sounding voices of the guy authors who sit around typing all their lives and sound like they need to get out more but they are still good people maybe even Christians with wives or at least a wife each and kids so I don’t want to offend anyone but I did say I like their book but just waiting for them to catch up with the times and I’m sure with the tough economic times and all there are some big construction guys with deep voices who can read just fine and go to the sound studio and do a great job of putting this up to speed on audiobook maybe the authors just think their work would have more value if it’s in their own voice but c’mon give us an option on that and just put your signature on the book version and go to book signings and stuff and leave the announcer and audiobooks to the cave man sounding guys and by the way most people I have met have never grown up even the really old people over 30 and still have an imagination so you can leave out all the sound effects and all the drama stuff because our brain can use all the energy saved by not having to read and turn pages to generate some mind blowing images and surround sound while listening to your prize winning audiobook and that should simplify your life even more and streamline you to the point of getting up to speed see it’s easier that you previously thought and by the way my favorite book is the Holy Bible on audiobook as read by Charlton Heston.
