  1. Thanks for sharing. Hope everyone has a great Christmas and New Years!

  2. lol… poor Ryan. We don’t get to laugh at him too often, so I guess it’s kinda a good thing???… sure… good thing.

my friend has a kidney stone right now. I know he’s suffering, so I did the most thoughtful thing I could think of and made him a playlist on my ipod with songs like Needtobreathe’s “Stones” and The Monkeeys “Steppin Stone” and The Fold’s “This Too Shall Pass”… stuff like that. He didn’t say so, but I’m sure he appreciated it.

Oh my gosh! You all MUST have the Spirit of God if you can crack up about gout!:) My dad has had it recently, so I do feel for you Ryan!!!!!

    Keep recordin’ and glorifyin’!
    Love from Houston,
    dawn:)

Poor Ryan! My hubby has gout and when he first got it he thought he had broke his toe too. Its very painful and it hurts to even put a sock on. I can only imagine how bad it hurt for him to have his shoe on.

  5. RYAN! NOOO! You couldn’t just leave it at sinusitis could you? Feel for you bro – definitely in our prayers. Try to have a Merry Christmas ;)

  6. So sad that we laugh at you, Ryan, but you have such a good attitude about the whole thing. Hope you’re feeling much better. I think AR gets the award for the band with the most injuries and/or sicknesses in ’09. Let’s shoot for none in 2010, ok! Merry Christmas!

I’ve got to show this to our youth pastor. He has gout quite often. Thank you Ryan for filling our Christmas with laughter. Hope you guys have a wonderfully blessed Christmas and hate that we’re not going to be able to see you this weekend. Any other time I would be praying for snow to get out of school. Hopefully we’ll see you sometime next year.

If you can smile & joke about your pain—you ROCK!

What an awesome pod cast. I am so sorry Ryan that you are in pain and hope you feel better soon. The guy with the guitar singing about gout had me rolling on the floor laughing.
Are you considering adding him to your band? LOL Hope you all have the very best merry Christmas!!! Keep up the great work. I love you guys!

It was Hippocrates who gave gout the title “the disease of kings” since it was most frequently found in people who indulged in rich diets…King Ryan you ROCK!!!

Oh my!! Poor thing, Ryan! Recline, recline! But, Jenny, don’t think we felt any less pain for you!!!! We’ll pray Ryan’s gout is gone before he is getting up in the night with a precious baby! Now, that would be some kind of pain!

I’d heard a lot of your stuff on the radio and love your music, but just seeing how you all carry yourself with light hearts off the stage makes it all the better. Ya’ll look like a blast to be around.

Anyway, MacKenzie Wolf is a friend mine here at Belmont University. She told me Jeff was leaving knowing my aspiration and more importantly my calling to use music to praise the Lord. I am very interested in getting the amazing opportunity to drum with you guys, and will be submitting an audition tape over the next week or too. If nothing else, it would be cool just to get the blessing of meeting all of you. I know you are in Nashville right now, as am I for school at Belmont. I also don’t want to throw a bunch of contact information at you. I’m sure you get that a lot. If not, maybe at the least, ya’ll could hit MacKenzie up and we could just go grab lunch or something together.

I’m praying for your ministry as a group, for Ryan (pour guy, I keep picturing that picture of the toe in the video), and for Jeff as he returns to school. Like I said, if you all would like, I’d love to hang out with you guys while you are here, as I am sure MacKenzie would too. God Bless…
