Interesting night last night. Interesting month. Forget that, interesting year for AR!

We were driving back to our managers house last night in Nashville. Going around a blind curve and to our surprise there was a huge tree that had just fallen across the road! The tree and van did not like each other very much, and I am sad to say that I think the tree won this round.

There were only two in the van at the time and both had no injuries. Only a crumpled van.

We are so thankful that no one was hurt last night. The only challenge now is that we start a tour next week with Sanctus Real. But, it will all work out. It always does. Pray that we can get all of those details worked out.

Poor van.

Who wants to buy us a bus?! (I kid. or do I?)

I love the song, “what do I know of holy” our radio station plays it all the time, wcic. I bought it from itunes.
Do you all know Mandy Desutter ? She is a Violist in Nashville and she does web graphics. She played for Chris Tomlin on the Dove Awards. Well she is my step daughter, her Mom and I will be staying with her in Nashville in Oct. for a long weekend. Here is her facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/mandy.desutter?ref=nf

  4. Whew, glad you’re all ok. Just for that, I’m gonna go outside and kick a tree

  5. Equipment stolen, vans wrecked. Is this a part of show business or do you guys just have really bad luck? I guess the luck came in when no one was injured.

  6. Yes, Thank God everyone is ok. Will b praying for u guys.

  7. You guys have the most crazy things happen right before you go on tour! Glad everyone was ok. That’s the most important thing.

  8. Wow, sorry to hear that happened. I just heard one of your songs on the radio last night 9-22-09 actually. It was around 7:15 p.m. to be exact, here in Pennsylvania and I was driving my car with my kayak on my rook after having kayaked.

Anyway, I guess after having been in a car accident 2 months ago myself I feel for ya.

Hope things work out with your vehicle. My insurance company totaled mine and I had to get a new car.

  9. I agree with Lisa Mongold-crazy things happen to you right before a tour–not a good precedent to have going on for the future =) Definitely praying that the details work out, but mostly that you all do not allow this to distract from what God is doing. The Lord is working regardless of whether vans get smashed.

One time my husband and I got 2 flat tires in one day on the way to church! We made it to church just in time to hear the sermon-an encouragement about being soldiers of the cross and sharing our testimony. Had to get 2 tires which changed our plans that afternoon-the result-I ended up meeting two young men who needed to to hear about Christ and His forgiveness and grace. Those two flat tires led to that meeting-God did that. The story is on my site: http://layingongodsanvil.com/2009/06/11/a-week-of-tops-and-bottoms/

So you never do know what might happen as a result of that van meeting that tree int he middle of the road.

Your music is amazing and your interesting happenings are strange. We all know who is at work to make your lives more difficult. Every time you are striving for God’s kingdom you are damaging Satan’s. You and your music are such inspiration to so many, Satan and his minions are working overtime. Good news is that God wins! You are in my prayers. Surely there is someone out here that came help with the bus?

I agree with Kittie Reese…, surely there is SOMEONE out ther that can help with the bus!!!!! Oh, Lord, how long?

  13. Jenny or Ryan – call me. You have my card when I saw you here in Vegas.

  14. Unlike a loan, it can still cost the person leasing the van quite a bit even if they want to settle the lease early. Unlike a vehicle loan, settling early with a van lease usually means that the individual still needs to pay the interest on the remaining months.

  15. Just thinking about you guys . . . asked Jesus to bless you and give you favor this weekend.

We love you and miss you in Vegas!
