Remember the days of normal cell phone rings?
Back when I had my gigantic Zack Morris cell phone in college I was thrilled to just be able to talk to people, the last thing I cared about was what the phone sounded like when it rang.
But now that I don’t have to carry my cell phone with two hands I can think of other features – cool phone cover, iPhone apps and now personalized ringtones. I probably talk to the guys in the band just about more than anyone else I know so I wanted their ringtones to be appropriate. So here we go:
Jenny: “Jesus Freak” by dc Talk
Jenny and I share a love for all things dc Talk, especially the whole ‘Jesus Freak’ album. We both went to a ton of their concerts back in the day, but Jenny is the only person I know who still has a Kevin Max sweat towel from a concert.
Travis: “High Time” by Paul Westerberg
Tazenda download Bandidos album
You’ve probably never heard this song but Trav and I were good buddies in college and this song was one of our favorites. Plus it’s the song I blasted in my car as a left college after graduating so it holds a special place in my heart, just like you Trav
Ryan: “Viva La Vida” by Coldplay
Ryan Simmons is a huge Coldplay fan, this song is awesome and it always puts me in a good mood. Plus the song is calming and Ryan is the guy who really keeps everyone in the band organized, informed, and prepared for all band trips. Without Ryan we’d probably still be playing in a coffee shop in Waco.
Jeff: “The Goonies ‘R’ Good Enough” by Cyndi Lauper
You’ve probably never have heard this little gem either, but I bet you’ve seen the movie “The Goonies” and Jeff and I are big fans. Some might think it’s a little embarassing to be walking around a quiet bookstore and “The Goonies” theme song comes blaring out of your phone. Not me.
Or maybe you need your very own Addison Road Ringtone.
Until next time,
Ryan Gregg

I LOVE “Gonnies ‘R’ Good Enough.” “The Goonies” is actually the movie I claim to be my favorite. It’s probably been knocked down from 1st place a couple times, but it’s a classic and I’m not ready to let it go. I have that song on my ipod though.
My ringtones (I’m still new to the iphone, so i haven’t really explored much) are:
“Breakfast at Tiffany’s” by Deep Blue Something
“Everybody” by Sister Hazel —> best secular band EVER.
“Fading” by Decyfer Down
“She Drives Me Crazy” by Fine Young Cannibals
and just because they have the word “call” in them:
“I Know You’re Calling” by Jeremy Camp
“The Call” by Fighting Instinct
I have The “Hope Now” Ringtone..
Its has actually been my main ring tone for a while now
My last phone had “In the Mood” (Glenn Miller) for my main ringtone. I miss it. I haven’t done anything fun with this new phone. I ned to figure it out, and get some ringtones. Where do you get yours?
Nice to know i’m not the only who has a passion for all things dc Talk– ha-ha! Nice ring-ers…eh…yeah.
I have your “It just takes One” ringtone for my cell. It rang when I was talking to Jenny and she’s like “I hear it!” hah.
Love you guys,
~Kasiana
p.s thanks, now I have Viva la Vida stuck in my head.
